Rahat Indori - "A Celebrated Soul"

One of the great Indian poets, Rahat Indori lost his life because of Covid-19. He suffered two heart attacks and could not be saved. He was admitted to the hospital on, after testing positive for #COVID19. He had 60% pneumonia: Dr. Vinod Bhandari from Sri Aurobindo Hospital, Indore told ANI.




Rahat Indori was full of life and he always had a different take on life a death. He celebrated death in his poems as well. Indori was known for the lyrics of songs like Yeh Rishta from Meenaxi (2004), M Bole toh from Munnabhai MBBS (2003), Bumbro Bumbro from mission Kashmir(2000)Chori Chori Jab Nazrein Mili from Kareeb (1998), Koi Jaye to le aye from Ghatak (1996), and Neend Churai Meri from Ishq (1997).


People from Bollywood,sports, politics, and country are saddened by the news. People like Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Swara Bhaskar, Shikhar Dhawan, Adnan Sami, Anubhav Sinha, and many more gave Condolences to the family.



Rahat Indori's words will always be alive in everyone's heart. He was such an impeccable poet who always spoke directly from the heart and this made everyone love him.
